The Weird Yellow Planet (English version)
After spending one year with my set of digital art tools and creating a lot of awesome collections for me and other people, I decided it was time to find my own style (and maybe stick with it?).
The Weird Yellow planet has been imagined at first as a « Digital Street Art » collection. It features toonesque weird unique characters in a bizarre and sometimes uncanny mechanical « Steampunk/Cyberpunk » setting, all with simplicity (almost minimalism) in the colours, style or subjects, but there’s complexity in the way you may interpret them as each artwork is treated to trigger some emotional signal with the smallest set possible of visual stimuli. The base yellow color is also a voluntary choice, this collection and its emotional triggers simply wouldn’t work with any other color.
The tone and details are exactly how I wanted them to be and that’s quite an accomplishment as now I won’t be working randomly anymore with my set of AI and editing tools, the whole process including secret recipes is entirely mine from A to Z.
At the time of writing, I’m working on a book featuring more than 200 artworks I created and specifically selected. Some have their own stories and I won’t hesitate to tell you more about them… My reading of some of them will probably challenge you and make you think deeper about the others. The book will be available on Amazon as soon as I’m 100% satisfied with it and it will be announced here.
I also wanted to give these artworks some digital exposure and allow people to literally own one of my piece of art. Some are already available as 1:1 NFTs exclusively on the Pulsechain ecosystem, and some may be available later to a broader audience on the Ethereum blockchain. I’m working as a developer for blockchain solutions, there was no way I wouldn’t use that amazing new technology and create collections at some point! If you can’t understand anything in this last paragraph, this is probably not of your concern but you can still enjoy the full digital collection by clicking on the link below!
